With a French twist, Maisons Du Monde have opened in the UK!
You can shop online and have it all shipped directly to your door. I am a little in love with Maisons Du Monde. And super stocked that I now have the opportunity to be an affiliate for them. I shop them frequently when visiting my parents house in France as they have a large store in Poitiers. I love their colour collections, the high end finish and on trend style visible in all their collections.
If you have read any of my ‘woe is me’ post lately you will know we have been evicted, the landlords son wants to take our home back and so we are on the hunt for something different. We haven’t got a clue on country let alone, county or town, so nailing down a specific house is actually really hard. Especially the way I’m emotionally unhinged right now. So instead I’ve skipped that bit and started decorating, it’s much more fun.
My my eldest is taking all the uncertainty hard, he has gone on holiday to France this week to give him some stress free time but when we do move and I decorate the boys rooms, I want it to be their own cool den and a space true to them.
I am in love with Maisons du Monde boys collection, it’s perfect for my adventurous, extreme boys and think the colours are really stylish and easy to work with, mix that with the a selection of items from the collection below we will have it spot on.
These are my favourite little touches though;
Along with “Jeff” this is quite possibly one of monster1s most used words, his got swag, that’s swag, his clothes are swag, I myself have even known to be swag!! The more you say it, the less it sounds like a real word, I am sure of it!
I like this just because now my boys are sharing, it seems the older they get the less carpet I see, if this continues on for the next few years, they will need this to find the doorway and prevent being lost for a lifetime!
Its cool. They will like it. It will never be used as a bin. Before anything ever entered it as rubbish it would be a wash basket, a bit collector, (bits they belong somewhere but boys can’t be bothered with that), a drum, a stepping stool (not advisable for h&s) and most probably a hat. But as a mum, I like it, and I live in hope they learn where snotty tissues really belong!
There will be lots more to come, when I finally move. The planning of the rooms and all the wonder I can decorate them with seems lots more fun then facing up to actuall moving and packing everything away.
Have you shopped the Maisons du Monde site yet? I’d love to know your favourites or the things you just had to buy!
