A day filled with presents and the words “mazing” “wow” and clapping whenever something excited him. He spent the first 30 minutes playing with the Peppa Pig Kitchen that I put together the night before ready for him to play with, it took some convincing to pry him away and actually open some other presents. It’s lovely his at an age each present matters, he takes I t in plays with it and has no interest in anything else, the time he is taking to figuring out everything about the gifts that surround him. He enjoys playing and showing his big bro everything.
Then his grandparents and great nanny came over and he was all excited by his new desk and colouring pencils, he spent time with each of us unwrapping gifts and playing.
I got him minion wrapping paper which he loved! And also got him this minion cake …. OH MY GOD … The excitement!!! We sung happy birthday and blew out the candles 4 times, just look at the joy on his face!
He got his Strider Bike at Christmas and has had a little practise indoors and with us at the park, but not really knowing how to teach him we were excited that when he turned 2 he could take part in local lessons at the local bike park. It also just so happened there was a class on his birthday!
He loved it, he didn’t do the full hour but he done brilliantly and it wasn’t about pushing him just finding something new and fun (plus he always wants to ride bikes like his big brother!).
When we got back my cousin Hannah who is super close with the kids came over to give monster 2 his gifts……in a box of shredded paper…an afternoon of fun, laughter and mess!!
We then lit the candles again another 3 times with my aunt and Hannah before he went off very tired to bed after a fun filled amazing birthday!
